“Education is, without a doubt, the most important driver of progress, development, and human well-being. And although this is a widely held belief in Chile, the quality of education remains an unresolved challenge in our country.”

That is why, since 2006, the Oportunidad Educational Foundation has been developing innovative strategies aimed at supporting the most critical stages of education, such as early childhood education.

To carry out these initiatives, the Foundation's team has worked in alliances with teachers and directors of public schools, with the national and international academic world, with public sector authorities and with other civil society organisations. This has been done with the common purpose of defining actions, methodologies and practices to improve children's learning. This collaborative work allows for the generation of resources that are freely available to the school system and that serve as background to nurture research and generate evidence in the development of best practices.
